BGSU的年度教学 & 学习峰会 is an opportunity for the BGSU teaching community to spend the day celebrating achievements, reflecting on the past year, sharing best practices for teaching and learning, and fostering future collaborations for both inside and outside of the 教室. 

The theme for this year’s Summit is Forward: The Future of 教学 & 学习. Aligning with BGSU’s strategic plan, “Forward.,” this year’s Summit will envision what teaching excellence and student success looks like in the university 教室 of the future.

The CFE has developed an accessible 教学大纲模板 that includes a combination of 所需的策略语言， CBA的期望，和 example statements that are not required. If you would like assistance developing your syllabus, please schedule a consultation with a CFE教学设计师.

The University and the BGSU 教师 Association (FA) share a common goal of supporting student success. 第九条第二款.7 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) states the following minimum expectations for inclusion in your course syllabus:

• A clear statement on course expectations
• The schedule and methods of assessment
• Indicators of support for student success
• Pedagogical efforts that engage students in the learning process

In addition to the CBA’s expectations above, the University requires that all syllabi include the statements in the Required University Policy Statements section. These statements are based on obligations imposed by state and federal law. 请注意, the Remotely Proctored Testing statement is only required if the instructor is utilizing remotely proctored testing.
