学生 typically become involved in research early in their first year of graduate training.  Both basic and applied research are well represented within our department.

Admission Requirements:

• 本科 心理学 courses: General 心理学
• GRE required for Industrial-Organizational  Area Only:  Verbal, Quantitative, Writing.  There are no GRE minimum score requirements for the Industrial-Organizational area.  临床, Developental  and Neural and Cognitive 科学 (NCS) areas do not require the GRE.  GRE scores will not be used in the admissions process in the 临床, 发展 or NCS areas.
  
• Importance of nonobjective criteria: previous research activity, 高; work experience, 高; extracurricular activity, 媒介; clinically related experiences, 媒介; letters of recommendation, 高.

Teaching Opportunities Abound:

A variety of teaching opportunities are available to our students that include being a teaching assistant, 导师, or laboratory instructor for undergraduate or graduate courses. Opportunities are also available for selected students to be instrucor of record for undergraduate courses.
